Foreman – Structural Wood Framing

SL Solution Services is an Edmonton-based structural wood framing contractor specializing in commercial and multi-family projects.

We’re looking for an experienced Framing Foreman who can lead a crew, read plans confidently, organize daily production and keep a project moving safely and efficiently.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who takes pride in their work, expects accountability from their crew and knows how to solve problems on site.

What the job looks like

- Lead and organize a wood framing crew on commercial and multi-family projects
- Read and interpret architectural, structural and framing drawings
- Plan daily work and assign crew members efficiently
- Maintain framing accuracy, quality and production
- Coordinate with project management and site supervision
- Identify problems early and communicate material, manpower and scheduling needs
- Train and mentor less-experienced crew members
- Maintain a safe, organized job site
- Work alongside the crew when required

What we're looking for

- Strong wood framing experience




- Previous crew-lead or foreman experience
- Excellent understanding of layout and structural framing
- Confident reading blueprints and specifications
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, accountable and able to lead by example
- Comfortable working on larger commercial and multi-family projects
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
