Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable, fast-learning, and customer-focused individual to join our auto parts team in a dual role as a Counter Person and Delivery Driver. In this position, you will assist walk-in customers at the counter, fulfill orders, handle payment processing, and make parts deliveries to our business customers, as well as pick up required inventory from local suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

- Counter & Customer Service:
- Greet walk-in customers and assist them with finding and purchasing auto parts.
- Fulfill and double-check customer orders directly at the counter.
- Process cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately using basic math and money-handling skills.
- Order Fulfillment & Business Deliveries:
- Prepare orders accurately for local business/commercial clients.
- Safely deliver auto parts directly to business customers in a timely, professional manner.
- Make multiple daily trips to local suppliers to pick up parts based on customer orders.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Vehicle & Licensing:




- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Must have your own reliable personal vehicle for business deliveries and supplier runs ($0.70 per km mileage reimbursement provided).
- Communication:
- Fluent in English (both verbal and written).
- Exceptional in-person customer service skills.
- Industry Knowledge & Aptitude:
- Working to good knowledge of automotive parts is preferred, OR a fast learning ability and a strong willingness to learn on the job.
- General Skills:
- Basic math and cash-handling skills for processing payments and making change.
- Punctual, organized, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift auto parts (up to e.g., 50 lbs) periodically throughout the shift.

Compensation & Advantages Hourly pay rate: $16 / hour

- Mileage Reimbursement: $0.70 per km provided for all work-related driving.

Employee discount on auto parts. Pay: $15.50-$16.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20.0 per week
