Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing of transactions
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with precision and integrity
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, special requests, and resolving concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, food handling zones, and service stations according to food safety regulations
- Support food preparation and serving processes by coordinating with kitchen staff to deliver timely orders
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through friendly suggestions




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure efficient service flow and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with hospitality operations
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order entry and transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing bills or change
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food industry standards including serving, food preparation support, and guest services
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure
