About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Fullstack Software Engineer to join our agile engineering team in Vancouver, Canada. This role is pivotal in shaping the technical landscape of our products by delivering innovative solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

As a key contributor, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to develop large-scale features, influence product strategy, and ensure the highest standards of quality and security. Your expertise will help guide the technical direction, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning. Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience designing and building enterprise-grade solutions using microservices architecture
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and observability tools
- Strong understanding of service operations and distributed systems
- In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud offerings and infrastructure management
- Experience developing SaaS products with scalable and resilient systems




- Proven success in cross-organizational collaboration and performance coaching
- Ability to recognize, address, and reconcile gaps and redundancies across teams

Responsibilities

- Understand and analyze user journeys and funnels to inform feature development
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to shape product strategy and roadmaps
- Lead the technical design and implementation of large-scale product features and systems
- Evaluate trade-offs between correctness, performance, robustness, and customer impact to deliver optimal solutions
- Debug and resolve inefficiencies within the team, improving overall performance
- Develop, ship, and maintain secure, reliable, and well-tested code with a focus on customer needs
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and complex bug fixes emphasizing security and performance
- Mentor and elevate the skills of team members through knowledge sharing and coaching
- Identify and address blockers to software engineering excellence, including design principles, testing, and security best practices
