Job Summary

We are seeking Baristas who are passionate about coffee and drinks to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will focus primarily on preparing high‑quality espresso‑based beverages and other drinks, serving light food items, delivering drinks to customers at tables or the counter, and providing friendly, efficient service in a fast‑paced café environment. A key part of the role is building solid teamwork with servers and front‑of‑house staff to ensure smooth operations and a great guest experience.

Previous experience in a café or food‑service setting is a plus, but a strong interest in coffee and a willingness to learn are more important. This role offers the opportunity to develop skills in espresso techniques, customer service, and beverage presentation while contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

- Prepare espresso‑based drinks and specialty beverages to a consistent, high standard
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment and keep the bar area clean and organized
- Follow drink recipes and quality standards to ensure consistency and taste
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS




- Handle bills and process payments efficiently and accurately
- Serve drinks and light food items promptly while maintaining quality standards
- Ensure food safety and proper food‑handling procedures are followed
- Assist with basic math calculations for billing and change‑making
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth beverage and service flow

Requirements

- Passion for coffee and interest in learning espresso and drink‑preparation techniques
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or food‑service environment is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred
- Basic barista experience or a strong willingness to learn coffee preparation
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Good time‑management skills to prioritize drink preparation during peak hours
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food‑handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills and a teamwork orientation
- Must be able to make and serve drinks courteously and efficiently in a fast‑paced setting

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
