Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing meals, ensuring that all dishes are served promptly and meet our restaurant's standards. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality




- Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
- Experience with serving and handling food in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills
