Enhance the lives of seniors as a full time Recreation Aide at Extendicare's Beacon Hill Lodge. Collaborate with the Recreation Manager to create and implement engaging programs that enrich residents' lives. As a full-time Recreation Aide, you will play a crucial role in developing plans and activities that cater to the interests of our residents.

Your responsibilities include maintaining department records, communicating events, and facilitating outings, all while supporting the well-being of seniors. The position also requires attending in-service training, participating in team meetings, and assisting with meal services to provide holistic care. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in planning and implementing resident programs




- Maintain accurate department records and assessments
- Communicate upcoming events to residents and families
- Facilitate scheduled outings for residents
- Assist with daily activities planning and evaluation Requirements:
- College diploma in Recreation or related field
- Experience working with seniors preferred
- Strong communication skills in written and oral formats
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
