This role is ideal for a self-sufficientprofessional who can independently price complex jobs, manage high-valuerooftop equipment estimates, and contribute to securing contracts. Project values typically range from $5M to $35M, requiringstrong technical knowledge across plumbing, HVAC, and sheet metal systems.

Key Responsibilities - Prepareaccurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical systems (plumbing,HVAC, sheet metal) - Independentlyanalyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents - Performdetailed take-offs and pricing for ICI and high-riseresidential/commercial projects - Handlehigh-cost rooftop unit pricing and equipment analysis on a daily basis - Solicitand evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes - Leadbid submissions and actively participate in closing contracts - Identifycost risks, value engineering opportunities, and scope gaps - Collaboratewith project managers, engineers,



and leadership teams - Maintainorganized documentation of estimates and bid history Qualifications &

Experience - Minimum5+ years of experience in mechanical estimating - Strongexpertise in plumbing, HVAC, and sheet metal systems - Provenexperience with ICI and high-rise construction projects - Abilityto independently manage full-cycle estimating on large-scale projects - Experiencepricing projects in the $5M-$35M range - Familiaritywith Autobid (or similar estimating software) is considered a solid asset - Strongunderstanding of Ontario codes, standards, and construction practices - Excellentanalytical, negotiation, and communication skills What We're Looking For - Aself-driven leader who can take ownership of the estimating function - Someoneconfident in pricing jobs independently and making strategic decisions - A teamplayer with the ability to mentor junior estimators over time - Strongcommercial awareness and ability to help win work and close deals - Paidvacation and personal days
