​Position Summary

​We are looking for a hardworking, reliable Experienced General Civil Construction Laborer to join our growing field crew. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience on active civil job sites, a strong work ethic, and a genuine eagerness to learn, grow, and take on increased responsibility over time.

​Key Responsibilities

- ​Assist crews with site preparation, grading, trenching, excavation support, and paving operations.
- ​Safely handle, load, and unload construction materials, tools, and heavy equipment.
- ​Operate small-to-medium power tools and light civil equipment (e.g., tampers, saws, lasers, or jackhammers) safely and efficiently.
- ​Perform routine site maintenance, debris cleanup, and uphold strict environmental and safety housekeeping standards.
- ​Actively participate in daily safety tailgates and hazard assessments.
- ​Collaborate seamlessly with foremen, operators, and fellow crew members to meet project deadlines.

​Qualifications & Requirements

- ​Experience:



Minimum [1-3] years of hands-on experience working as a laborer in general civil construction, earthworks, utilities, or roadbuilding.
- ​Background Check: Must have a clean criminal record (required for certain high-security or sensitive project sites).
- ​Drug & Alcohol Policy: Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
- ​Mindset & Culture Fit:
- ​Strong team-first mentality—reliable, punctual, and supportive of your crew.
- ​A desire to advance within the company by actively acquiring new skillsets, certifications, and leadership capabilities.
- ​Physical Requirements: Ability to perform heavy physical labor in all weather conditions, lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly, stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.

​Important Details & Certifications

- ​Safety Tickets: Valid OSHA 10/30 (or local equivalent safety certification, e.g., CSTS/WHMIS) and valid First Aid/CPR are solid assets.
- ​Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to various job sites on time are required.

Pay: $18.11-$28.00 per hour Work Location: On the road
