Sarata Manufacturing Inc. is a sheet metal fabrication shop in Windsor, Ontario, providing laser cutting, forming and bending, MIG/TIG welding, powder coating, and assembly for industrial customers. We are hiring a General Labourer to support daily shop operations. Shop experience is an asset but not required — we are looking for a dependable team member. This is a full-time, long-term prospect on day shift.
Responsibilities: Material handling and movement of parts within the shop; deburring and basic part finishing; loading and unloading materials and finished goods; packing and shipping preparation; assisting machine operators as needed; general shop housekeeping and organization.
Requirements: Dependable and punctual; physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs; steel-toe boots required; shop or manufacturing experience is an asset, not required; Must know how to use hand tools and electric tools such as grinders and drills.
