Success Matcher Recruitment is partnering with our client to hire a highly driven General Manager to scale their rapidly expanding consumer brands across the textile categories. This is a pure commercial ownership role where you will take the reins of existing consumer brands and develop lucrative licensed bedding businesses. We are looking for a hands-on leader to own the P&L; and drive the next phase of their multi-channel growth.

What You’ll Own

- Strategic Growth:

Build and execute comprehensive growth plans for the rug and bedding portfolios across both current and new market channels.

- End-to-End Product Ownership:

Oversee product development, sourcing, pricing, positioning, merchandising, conversion, retention, inventory management, and cash flow.

- Financial & Metric Tracking:

Closely track net sales, contribution margins, acquisition costs, lifetime value, and working capital. Utilize deep forecasting and unit economics to ensure profitable, sustainable growth.

- Team Leadership:

Lead contractors and build out a lean, high-output, and elite team as the business scales.

- Process Optimization:





Implement cutting-edge tools and collaborate with technical specialists to ensure workflows are measurable, repeatable, and highly automated.

What We’re Looking For

- 5 to 10 years of experience as a General Manager, Founder, or similar commercial leader.

- A proven track record of commercial ownership with measurable success in launching or scaling a brand, product line, or business.

- Exceptional quantitative skills, including advanced spreadsheet capabilities, deep forecasting abilities, and sharp contribution-margin judgment.

- High initiative and the ability to execute independently in rapid-paced, ambiguous environments.

- Strong affinity for software, data, or AI integration (Coding/French language skills are not required, but a tech-forward mindset is a major plus).

- Ability to work in-person five days per week in Montréal (Relocation assistance is available).
