Jade Homes builds ready to move custom homes in Bow Island. We are looking for a General Manager to lead the business day to day, from the first customer conversation through design, construction, delivery and follow-up.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will bring the sales, office and production teams together around clear priorities, make timely decisions when plans change, and take responsibility for project performance and the customer experience. You will report to the CEO and work closely with him on business results and opportunities for improvement.

What you will be responsible for

Lead the business and its people

- Set priorities and make sure employees and managers understand what needs to happen, who owns it and when it is due.
- Lead regular conversations about workload, project progress, obstacles and results.
- Coach employees and managers, address performance concerns, and build a team that communicates and follows through.
- Work with the CEO to identify staffing needs and strengthen how the business operates as it grows.

Deliver homes and meet commitments

- Oversee the flow of projects through sales, design, purchasing, construction, delivery and customer follow-up.
- Keep schedules realistic and visible. Resolve issues involving capacity, materials, quality or changing customer requirements before they become larger problems.
- Ensure the right information reaches the right people at each handoff, especially when a project moves from sales and design into production.
- Maintain clear expectations for workmanship, safety and the finished customer experience.

Own customer and financial results

- Stay involved in important customer relationships,



sales opportunities and difficult service issues.
- Review pricing, project costs, margins, forecasts and overall financial performance with the finance team and CEO.
- Use those results to improve decisions about scheduling, staffing, purchasing and project delivery.
- Develop practical improvements to processes, supplier coordination and communication between teams.

What you bring

- Significant experience leading people and operations in homebuilding, construction, manufacturing or a closely related business.
- A record of delivering projects through multiple teams while managing schedules, quality, costs and customer expectations.
- Confidence reading financial reports and understanding budgets, pricing and project margins.
- The ability to lead through others: setting expectations, delegating decisions, giving feedback and following up.
- Sound judgment with customers and staff, including the ability to address problems directly and respectfully.
- Strong organization and communication skills, with a practical approach to improving systems without losing sight of the work happening each day.

Experience with ready to move homes or custom residential construction would be an asset. We are looking for someone who understands both the business decisions and the people needed to deliver a well-built home.
