Duties

- Assist customers by providing excellent service, answering questions, and offering product recommendations in multiple languages if applicable
- Restock shelves efficiently by organizing merchandise, ensuring accurate pricing, and maintaining attractive displays through merchandising techniques
- Operate equipment such as forklifts safely to handle heavy or bulk items, adhering to all safety protocols
- Process transactions accurately at the cashier station, including handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness of the store by performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring aisles, checkout areas, and storage spaces are tidy and safe
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on store equipment and report any issues promptly to ensure continuous operation




- Support inventory management by organizing stockrooms, conducting stock counts, and assisting with receiving deliveries

Qualifications

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but training can be provided for qualified candidates
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members in bilingual environments if applicable
- Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels, maintain displays, and keep the store orderly
- Willingness to perform cleaning duties and routine maintenance tasks to uphold store standards
- Capable of standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods; physical stamina is essential for success in this role
- A positive attitude with a proactive approach to teamwork and problem-solving
