Duties

- Greet clients warmly and assist with check-in procedures at the front desk to ensure a smooth arrival experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all salon areas, including styling stations, washbasins, and common spaces
- Support hairstylists by preparing tools, supplies, and products needed for styling sessions
- Assist stylists during colouring, cutting, perming, and other hair services as directed
- Prepare clients for services, including shampooing, conditioning, drying, and other basic salon preparations
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about services, products, and promotions with enthusiasm and clarity
- Assist with retail sales by recommending products suited to clients’ needs and upselling where appropriate




- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate client flow to maximize salon efficiency
- Keep inventory organized and restock supplies as needed to ensure seamless operations
- Process client payments accurately

Qualifications

- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques or a willingness to learn on the job
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Previous front desk or receptionist experience is advantageous but not mandatory
