Job Title:Hardware Support Technician (On-Call/Part-Time)

About Us:We design and manufacture innovative key management systems. Our team is looking for a hands-on problem solver who enjoys fixing things, following guides, and learning new skills.

Position Overview:This is a flexible, on-call role perfect for a student or entry-level technician. You’ll be troubleshooting and repairing basic hardware/electrical issues using step-by-step support guides. No advanced engineering experience needed — just good hands, a practical mind, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

- Follow troubleshooting and repair guides to diagnose and fix hardware issues at locations around the GTA
- Perform basic electrical checks (e.g., using a multimeter)
- Replace components, cables, and small parts as needed
- Document work performed and communicate findings to support staff
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Occasionally assist with new installations or upgrades

Who We’re Looking For:

- Comfortable working with tools and small parts
- Basic understanding of electrical safety and wiring
- Can follow written and visual instructions accurately
- Problem solver with electrical/hardware aptitude
- Reliable and punctual — responds quickly when on call
- Drivers license and vehicle required





Ideal Backgrounds (students welcome):

- Enrolled in or recently graduated from:
- Electrical Technician / Electrician Pre-Apprenticeship
- IT / Computer repair
- Industrial design or engineering
- Small Engine Repair / Outdoor Power Equipment Technician
- Automotive Service Technician (apprentice level)
- Appliance Service Technician
- HVAC or Electro-Mechanical Technician programs
- Industrial Maintenance / Millwright programs
- Or relevant hands-on experience (e.g., Computer repair, repairing lawn mowers, appliances, or electronics as a hobby or job)

Hours & Pay:

- On-call, part time (hours vary based on need)
- Flexible schedule — ideal for students
- $25 per hour including travel.
- Drivers license and vehicle required
