Join our dynamic educational team as a part-time High School Tutor specializing in Math (Functions, Advanced Functions and Calculus) and Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology). Responsibilities

- Deliver tailored tutoring sessions in Math and Science subjects to high school students, adapting methods to meet individual learning styles and needs
- Assist students in understanding core concepts, solving problems, and preparing for exams with clear explanations and active engagement
- Develop customized lesson plans and practice exercises that align with students’ curriculum requirements and academic goals
- Track student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians as appropriate
- Create an encouraging learning workplace that boosts student confidence and motivation
- Utilize computer skills to incorporate digital resources, educational software, and online tools into tutoring sessions




- Collaborate with educational coordinators or teachers to ensure alignment with curriculum standards and student needs

Qualifications

- Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or tutoring setting is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of Math (Functions, Advanced Functions and Calculus) and Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) subjects at the high school level, including algebra, geometry, biology, chemistry, or physics
- Demonstrated teaching or tutoring experience that highlights your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
- Excellent computer skills with familiarity using educational software, virtual meeting platforms, or online learning tools
- Classroom experience or background in education is a plus; familiarity with special education strategies is beneficial
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring students to achieve their academic potential
- Ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual student needs and learning styles
