Position Overview

We are seeking committed and qualified teachers who are adept at teaching the Ontario Curriculum, including Advanced Placement (AP) and/or International Baccalaureate (IB) programs. The ideal candidate is not only academically strong but also deeply committed to building meaningful connections with students and making learning enjoyable, engaging, and concepts-driven. The candidate must be willing to think beyond the box and adapt their pedagogy to the learners needs and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with the Ontario Curriculum (including AP/IB where applicable)
- Develop lesson plans that emphasize conceptual understanding over rote learning
- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Use innovative and interactive teaching methods to make learning fun and impactful
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and curiosity in students
- Maintain open communication regarding student development

Required Qualifications

- Previous tutoring experience from Grade 1 to Grade 12 or Certification to teach the Ontario Curriculum
- Experience in teaching AP and/or IB programs is a strong asset
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject area (Master’s preferred)




- Candidates with expertise in Grade 11 and 12 subjects, especially Mathematics,
- Calculus and Vectors, Physics, Chemistry, Data Management and English are preferred.
- Strong evidence of subject matter expertise.

- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Experience with differentiated instruction and student-centered learning
- Comfort with technology-enabled teaching (online/hybrid tools)
- Native fluency in English
