Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic self-motivated Hotel General Manager to lead our team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The hotel is a 55-room branded hotel, with an on-site restaurant that is leased to a third-party operator. In this pivotal role, you will independently oversee daily hotel operations, manage staff, and uphold the highest standards of service and hospitality.

Your leadership will drive the success of the property by fostering a welcoming environment, maintaining operational excellence, and ensuring financial performance aligns with organizational goals. Duties

- Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance to ensure seamless operations
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest services, ensuring every visitor receives a memorable experience
- Control expenses, and optimize revenue streams to meet financial targets
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff,



cultivating a motivated team committed to excellence in service
- Oversee human resources functions such as staffing, performance evaluations, and employee relations
- Maintain high standards of phone and web etiquette and customer service across all touchpoints with guests and vendors
- Monitor guest feedback and address concerns promptly to uphold the hotel’s reputation for outstanding hospitality

Experience

- Proven supervising experience in the hospitality industry or hotel management role
- Solid background in customer service with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Extensive hotel experience covering front desk operations, guest services, and overall property management
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
- Experience in human resources management, including hiring practices and employee development
- Ability to legally work in Canada is a requirement

Pay: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
