Housekeeper and Home Assistant — Yorkville

Monday to Thursday, 16+ hours a week.

I am looking for a calm, capable person to help me keep home running. Someone organized, genuinely clean, and easy to have in the house. The goal is straightforward: I come home and the day is already handled.

Most weeks are Monday to Thursday, about 4 to 5 hours a day, with a set start time. Some weeks are a little fuller. If I am away and do not need you, that week is unpaid, and I will tell you ahead of time. Hours are paid when you work.

You would take care of the everyday things. Floors, dusting, kitchen, bathrooms, and putting things back where they belong. Laundry washed, folded, and put away. Two dog walks each day you are here, at least 30 minutes each. A bit of meal prep so dinner is not starting from nothing. Two small projects from a list I leave you. An errand now and then.

I have two properties, so some weeks include a little help at the second one.



A few times a year I go to the cottage. You are welcome to come if you would like to, paid hourly, but it is never required.

What matters most is that you already know how to look after a home, you are kind to the dogs, and you can see what needs doing without being managed. Cooking, or a good eye for making a room look finished, is a lovely bonus.

This is a real job. You must be legally eligible to work in Canada, and the offer depends on a clear police check before you start. Extended health and dental begin after 3 months. Vacation pay from day one. Rate based on your experience.

Pay: $17.95-$21.00 per hour
