We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will lead a team of custodial staff, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and maintain efficient workflow. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a solid background in custodial services and facilities maintenance.

Supervisor will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all occupants and visitors.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks
- Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and use of equipment such as hand tools, power tools, and cleaning supplies
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and safety regulations
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, including custodial tools and facilities maintenance items
- Perform routine maintenance tasks using hand tools or power tools as needed to address minor repairs or facility upkeep
- Oversee the use of commercial cleaning equipment and ensure proper operation and safety protocols are followed
- Schedule staff shifts efficiently to meet operational demands while maintaining quality standards
- Address customer service concerns promptly, ensuring occupant satisfaction with cleanliness and facility appearance
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, supplies used, and maintenance activities
- Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and heavy lifting protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial services, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance with supervisory responsibilities preferred
- Robust knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation (including hand tools and power tools), and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills for effective team leadership and customer interaction
- Ability to manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and operational goals
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Demonstrated ability to use custodial tools, perform minor repairs with hand or power tools, and conduct basic facilities maintenance tasks
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in inspecting work quality
- Prior experience in supervising a cleaning team or custodial staff is highly desirable
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
