Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Houseperson / Houseman to join our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the hotel, ensuring a welcoming and pristine environment for guests and staff alike. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help uphold our high standards of hospitality, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere that guests will remember.

Duties

- Perform thorough cleaning of public areas, guest corridors, lobbies, and service spaces to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Assist with replenishing supplies such as linens, toiletries, and amenities in guest rooms and public areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of hotel hallways, stairwells, elevators, and other common areas through routine cleaning and inspections.
- Support housekeeping staff by transporting linens, trash, and cleaning supplies efficiently throughout the property.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored according to safety protocols.




- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or assistance in public spaces.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to uphold health and safety regulations, including industrial cleaning procedures when necessary.

Qualifications

- Prior custodial or cleaning experience preferred, especially within a hotel or hospitality setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including industrial cleaning practices preferred.
- Experience with hotel operations or hospitality environments is considered as an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced settings.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods during shifts.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
