Human Resources Generalist

West Coast Kids is a contemporary baby and kids boutique with a proud history of over 50 years in business. Family-owned and Canadian-operated, we have grown to 10 locations across Canada, supported by our Bradford warehouse and head office operations in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and a team of approximately 325 employees.

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and people-focused Human Resources Generalist to join our team and take an active role in building and enhancing the Human Resources function at West Coast Kids.

Their role includes

- Helping employees with questions, concerns, benefits, and HR issues.
- Supporting managers with employee situations, coaching, performance, and policies.
- Supporting stores with their day-to-day HR needs and helping managers navigate employee situations.
- Employee records – keeping HR information accurate and up to date.
- Payroll support – helping with payroll questions and changes.




- Training – helping organize and coordinate employee and manager training.
- Policies – helping maintain company policies and the employee handbook.
- Employee relations – helping resolve workplace concerns fairly and professionally.
- Dayforce – maintaining employee information and HR processes in the system.

Position Expectations: The HR Generalist works closely with employees, managers, the Regional Manager, and CCO to support our stores, strengthen our teams, and help ensure each location has the HR support it needs to be successful.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
