Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks accounting software
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections
- Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to verify data integrity
- Handle payroll processing with attention to detail and compliance with applicable laws
- Conduct regular account reconciliations and prepare financial reports for management review
- Assist with budgeting activities by tracking expenses and forecasting future costs
- Support month-end closing procedures and prepare documentation for audits as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll management
- Ability to perform bank reconciliation, account analysis, and account reconciliation efficiently
- Familiarity with HVAC industry operations is a plus but not required
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and departments
