Information Security Analyst – Intermediate

Enterprise Security Administration (ESA) | Contract – 6 Months | Toronto, ON (5 times per month in office)

Hourly Pay:

- T4 - $52.59
- INC - $62.61

What You’ll Do
- Manage privileged access: Provision and administer privileged access to production infrastructure across Active Directory, Azure, databases, Linux/Unix, and mainframe environments.
- Administer privileged accounts: Create and manage privileged vaulted accounts using CyberArk (Idira) and follow established access provisioning procedures.
- Assess access risks: Evaluate access requests, determine eligibility for elevated privileges, and identify opportunities to minimize security and operational risk.
- Support enterprise security operations: Work on ESA-related operational activities that support the Bank’s U.S. business and infrastructure requirements.
- Follow security procedures: Use documented knowledge bases, workflows, and established processes to ensure access requests are handled accurately and consistently.
- Collaborate across teams: Work closely with team leads, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to resolve access-related issues and support platform-specific requirements.
- Communicate with stakeholders: Provide transparent updates and communicate professionally with stakeholders at all levels, including senior and executive management.
- Contribute to continuous operations: Participate in regular team meetings to review priorities, track progress, and address challenges.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications





- Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in information security, privileged access provisioning, IT support, or a related technical environment.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow for service requests, ticketing, or access management workflows.
- Experience with CyberArk (Idira) or privileged account vaulting and management.
- Practical experience managing Active Directory access and permissions.
- Experience with Oracle and MySQL databases .
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and associated access management processes.
- Experience navigating and managing mainframe environments .
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud access administration.
- Previous experience in a help desk or IT support environment.
- A solid understanding of information security principles, access controls, and privileged access management.
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills, particularly when evaluating elevated access requests.
- The ability to learn and follow documented procedures, knowledge bases, and established workflows.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with senior stakeholders and executive management.

Nice to Have
- Experience supporting enterprise banking infrastructure or other highly regulated environments.
