Job title: Sauna Installer & Service Technician

Location: Gravenhurst / Muskoka, ON (travel to project sites across Ontario)

Pay: $30–$40 per hour, based on experience

Job type: Permanent, part-time to full time [hours per week, e.g. 25–40, varying with the project schedule]

About us The Muskoka Sauna Co. builds and installs premium saunas and cold plunges for homes, cottages and businesses across Ontario. We handcraft our own saunas and wellness products and are an authorized dealer for some of the best sauna brands in the world, including Saunum, Leil, Auroom, SaunaLife and HUUM. Our customers invest in something they’ll use for decades, and we want every install to reflect that.

We’re growing, and we’re building our own in-house install and service crew so every project meets the standard our customers expect. We’re looking for one or two people who take real pride in their work.

What you’ll do

- Assemble and install outdoor and indoor saunas, from barrel saunas and modern cabin kits to fully assembled units placed by crane
- Check site and base readiness, and prep sites before a build
- Carry, move and position heavy materials and components on residential and cottage properties, in all seasons
- Handle service and repair calls: adjust doors and glass, re-tighten bands, replace parts, and diagnose heater and controller issues alongside our team and the manufacturer
- Talk with customers on site in a friendly, professional way: walk them through their new sauna, answer questions and leave them confident using it
- Document every job with photos and short notes (completed work, deficiencies, parts needed)

- Do final walkthroughs and quality checks so nothing leaves our hands unfinished
- Coordinate with our office team, delivery partners and licensed electricians. Electrical hookups are done by licensed electricians, not by our install crew.

What we’re looking for

- Carpentry, construction, cabinetry, deck building or similar hands-on experience. Sauna or outdoor-structure experience is a strong asset.
- Very detail-oriented: square, level, clean and finished to a premium standard every time
- Comfortable reading assembly manuals and technical drawings, and troubleshooting when something doesn’t line up
- Technically savvy: comfortable with a laptop, email, photos and apps; able to explain things clearly to customers
- Physically able to lift and carry heavy materials (50+ lbs), work outdoors in all weather and work on uneven ground
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a two-person crew
- A valid Ontario G licence with a clean driving record
- Professional, respectful presence in customers’ homes and cottages
