AMC Insurance Service is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Insurance Team Lead for our New Westminster branch. This is a hands-on, on-site role for a licensed insurance professional who can support branch operations, guide daily workflows, assist team members, grow the business, and drive excellent service and sales performance.

Role Details

- Work Arrangement: In office (New Westminster Branch Location - 450 6th St, Current Westminster, BC V3L 3B3)
- Compensation: CA$65,000–$78,000 per year, based on experience and licensing level, plus performance-based incentives

Key Responsibilities
- Business Growth & Sales: Drive proactive sales initiatives, cultivate local client relationships, and actively grow the branch's insurance portfolio.
- Team Leadership & Support: Guide, mentor, and support branch staff on daily workflows, customer service standards, and target achievement.
- Customer Service & Sales: Handle complex client inquiries, review policies, quote and process renewals/new business, and support upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
- Operations & Workflow Coordination: Ensure smooth day-to-day branch operations, manage service queues, and collaborate with management to streamline processes.
- Training & Coaching: Assist with onboarding new staff, provide ongoing coaching on broker management systems (such as Applied Epic), and support continuing education/licensing requirements.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all transactions adhere to company policies, regulatory standards, and Insurance Council guidelines.
- Performance Tracking:



Monitor branch metrics, track sales and service goals, and report progress to senior management.

Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the Canadian insurance industry, ideally within a brokerage setting.
- Proven track record of growing insurance business, driving sales, and meeting targets.
- Must hold a valid BC Level 2 General Insurance License in good standing.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR).
- Valid Driver’s Licence and personal vehicle for travel or branch coordination when required.
- Strong knowledge of personal and commercial insurance lines.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with broker management systems (Applied Epic preferred) and Microsoft Office suite.

Assets
- Previous experience in a supervisory, senior broker, or team lead role.
- Strong local community connections in New Westminster or surrounding areas.
