IT PMO – Technical Project Manager

Location: Saguenay, QC Experience: 3–5 years Language: Bilingual (French & English) Rate: ~$45/hr

Role Overview

The IT PMO Technical Project Manager will support the delivery of technology initiatives by driving project planning, execution, governance, and reporting within the PMO framework. This role requires solid technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate cross‐functional teams in a fast‐paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end‐to‐end delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with PMO standards and organizational goals

- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and documentation

- Coordinate with technical teams (infrastructure, applications, security, data) to ensure timely execution

- Facilitate project governance, including status reporting,



steering committee updates, and KPI tracking

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 3–5 years of experience in IT project management or PMO roles

- Strong understanding of IT concepts (infrastructure, cloud, applications, integrations)

- Experience working within a PMO environment

- Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Confluence, etc.)

- Excellent communication skills in French and English

- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation abilities

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Experience with Agile or hybrid methodologies

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or Scrum Master

- Experience in government, public sector, or large enterprise environments

- Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and drive mitigation strategies

- Support PMO process improvements and contribute to standardization of tools and templates
- Ensure compliance with organizational methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)

- Manage stakeholder communication in both French and English

- Collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and business partners to ensure project success
