We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment across our facilities. This vital role involves performing thorough cleaning and basic maintenance tasks to ensure all areas are spotless, organized, and well-maintained. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to creating a positive experience for employees, visitors, and clients by upholding high standards of cleanliness and facilities upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine.
- Conduct minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or reporting repairs needed for equipment or facilities.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or hazards.
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is properly stored after use.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled or required.
Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and moving cleaning equipment or supplies.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work.
- Valuable communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work effectively within a team.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures is advantageous.
- Reliable attendance record with a positive attitude toward maintaining a clean environment.
- Must have own vehicle for transportation.
