Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming workplace for clients and staff. This role requires strong organizational skills, reliability, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in facilities maintenance and customer service within a professional setting.

Duties

- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial or residential spaces
- Operate hand tools and power tools for deep cleaning or maintenance tasks as needed
- Utilize custodial equipment to maintain cleanliness standards across multiple areas
- Conduct facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting or when handling cleaning chemicals
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address specific cleaning needs or concerns
- Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes




- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans during scheduled intervals

Qualifications

- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic facilities maintenance is a plus
- Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during cleaning shifts
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and responding to client requests
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
