Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman/Woman Welder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform high-quality welding and fabrication work across various projects, ensuring precision and safety. You will utilize your expertise in multiple welding techniques and mechanical skills to contribute to our diverse manufacturing and repair operations.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and welding tasks
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) as well as SMAW welding to join metals with precision and strength
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other equipment to shape and assemble components
- Conduct rigging operations for lifting and positioning heavy materials or assemblies safely using cranes or forklifts
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues during fabrication or assembly processes




- Measure parts accurately with calipers and other measuring tools; perform basic math calculations for precise fabrication
- Assist with ductwork installation, machining tasks, or construction-related activities as needed

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Journeyman/Woman Welder with a strong background in SMAW, MIG and TIG welding techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings confidently
- Knowledge of rigging procedures, crane operation basics, and mechanical systems
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and schematics reading
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes related to ductwork, assembly, or construction environments
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during fabrication tasks
- Valid certifications in welding (such as AWS certification preferred) are a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Experience with forklift operation is advantageous
