Job Summary

Reporting to our Senior Appraisers,



you will support our appraisal processes while learning the business from the ground up. This role is a mix of field work, research, and administrative precision.

Major Job Functions:

- Research & Methodology (65%): Assemble methodology folders and research market comparables.
- Site Visits (15%): Travel to client sites to view and photograph equipment.
- Documentation (5%): Organize photos and describe equipment.
- Client Liaison (5%): Obtain necessary information and documentation for assets.
- Peer Review (5%): Discuss methodologies and review research.
- Quality Assurance (5%): Proofing reports for accuracy.

Qualifications & Competencies

- Education: Grade 12 diploma required; post-secondary education in finance or trade school is a strong asset.
- Technical Skills: Exceptional MS Office skills, specifically Excel. Eagerness to embrace AI-driven tools to augment research and analysis.
- Communication: High-level verbal and written communication abilities; ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of mechanical plants, construction/manufacturing industries, and business operations is preferred.
- Mindset: Inquisitive, methodical problem-solver with a commitment to continuous learning and a desire to advance to a Senior Appraiser role.
- Personal Attributes: A natural leader who listens, supports, collaborates, and maintains strict accountability.

Working Conditions

- This role requires working in an office setting
- Computers and a cell phone allowance will be provided.
- Field work involves driving to remote locations, walking, climbing, and bending in various weather conditions.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (no more than 3 active demerits) is required.
- A criminal record check will be required.
