Commercial real estate is hard to learn from the outside. At K2 Commercial Group, the commercial division of K2 Real Estate Group, newer salespeople learn it by working on real transactions alongside people who do this every day. We are a focused GTA team serving small to medium-sized investors, groups, and organizations, and we are not a traditional brokerage team. For a newer salesperson who wants to build a career in commercial real estate, this is a place to do it.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, production-focused role for someone who wants to become a commercial real estate professional, not an assistant. The successful candidate will work directly with experienced agents on live assignments across Investment Properties, Industrial, Leasing, and Medical Spaces throughout the GTA and surrounding markets.

Guidance and mentorship are a real part of the role, and initiative is expected in return. The people who do best here are curious, take ownership, and want to build their own book of business over time.

What the Role Offers

- Investment property sales and acquisitions
- Commercial leasing and tenant representation
- Market research and property analysis
- Prospecting and business development
- Negotiation and deal structuring
- Client relations and long-term relationship building

The role shows how deals come together, how problems get solved, and how professional relationships turn into repeat business. Mentorship from experienced team members, involvement in real transactions, and room to take on more as skills grow are central to the position.

Responsibilities

- Taking part in commercial sales and leasing transactions from first conversation through closing
- Researching markets, comparable sales, and lease rates,



and helping prepare property analyses
- Prospecting and networking to identify owners, investors, and tenants
- Attending property tours, client meetings, and negotiations
- Communicating with clients, lawyers, lenders, and other brokerages
- Building and nurturing a personal network and pipeline as skills develop

Qualifications

- Registered, or in the process of becoming registered, as a real estate salesperson with RECO
- A genuine interest in commercial real estate and a desire to make it a long-term focus
- Strong communication skills and an easy way of building rapport
- A professional, organized approach with attention to detail
- Self-motivation and a willingness to prospect, follow up, and put themselves out there
- Comfort with numbers and an interest in learning how investment properties are evaluated
- A teachable attitude paired with an entrepreneurial mindset

Prior commercial experience is not required. Residential experience, a business background, or relevant coursework are all assets. Compensation and structure will be discussed during the interview process.
