Responsible for recent employee orientations, safety training and paperwork

Maintaining monthly safety hours and statistics reporting

Hosting/Participating in field and in office staff safety meetings

Creating project safety plans and emergency response plans, as well as job hazard assessments

Carrying out incident investigations and reviews, field crew inspections, and worksite inspections, along with any corrective action required

Maintaining fire extinguishers and first aid kits (office, shop, equipment + field crews)

Tracking safety training certificates, booking safety training courses

Maintaining employee driver authorizations and vehicle inspection

Assisting with preparation, planning, and execution of internal and external safety audits

Pay: $56,500.00-$76,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate

- Watson Lake, YT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
