About the Role

We’re looking for an energetic, outgoing Entertainment Team Member to host and lead our birthday parties and events, mostly on weekends. You’re part MC, part performer, part game master: the person who gets the room excited, keeps the kids engaged, and makes every party feel special. If you love being in front of a crowd and making kids smile, this is the job for you!

What You’ll Do

- Lead interactive games, contests, and group activities
- Lead dances, songs, and high-energy moments that get everyone involved
- Engage kids of different ages and keep the group safe, focused, and having fun
- Welcome parents and guests with warm, friendly customer service
- Keep the party running on schedule, including activities, food time, and cake
- Help set up and reset party rooms and play areas
- Work with the team to create new games, themes, and entertainment ideas

What We’re Looking For

- Experience or strong skills in public speaking, hosting, or performing
- Experience working with children, such as camps, party hosting, entertainment centres, coaching, or childcare
- Confidence leading groups of kids and holding their attention
- Dance, drama, music, or other artistic skills are a big plus
- A positive, outgoing personality that brings energy to the room
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A team player who is reliable, punctual, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

- Must be 18 years of age or older (required for program staff ratios)
- A clean Police Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
- Available on weekends; occasional weekday availability is an asset
- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset

Pay: $17.95-$20.00 per hour

Benefits
