Duties

- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals to ensure timely service
- Support cooking activities by following recipes and safety guidelines to maintain high-quality standards
- Help with food handling procedures to uphold cleanliness and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Serve food to guests efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Follow proper food safety protocols, including storage, temperature control, and hygiene practices




- Support inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs

Experience

- Previous food service experience or restaurant work is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Indian Restaurant experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling standards is advantageous
- Experience in the food industry or kitchen environment demonstrates a solid foundation for success in this role
- Knowledge of food safety practices ensures compliance with health regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members
