Responsibilities

- Assist in food preparation by chopping, peeling, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Support the cooking process by following instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors to ensure timely meal production.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and safety regulations at all times.
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests or staff, ensuring presentation meets quality standards.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock items.




- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for everyone in the kitchen.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in Indian food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is highly valued.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Robust understanding of proper food handling procedures and hygiene standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration with colleagues and supervisors.
- Basic serving skills are a plus, along with familiarity with meal preparation processes in the food industry.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed.
