Ramen Arashi is an authentic Japanese ramen restaurant that has been serving the Kelowna community since September 2023.

We are looking for friendly, reliable, and motivated team members to join our kitchen team!

No previous kitchen experience? No problem! We provide training and welcome applicants who are eager to learn.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook ramen and other menu items according to our recipes and standards
- Assist with daily food preparation and kitchen operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate and cooperate with team members
- Maintain consistent food quality and presentation
- Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general kitchen duties

Qualifications
- No previous kitchen experience required – training provided!
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Interest in Japanese food and culture is a plus
- Availability to work weekends and holidays is an asset

Pay & Benefits
- Starting wage: $18.25/hour
- Additional tips:



Approximately $6–$12/hour, depending on business volume and tip distribution (not guaranteed)

Work Schedule
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Morning and evening shifts
- Typical shifts are approximately 6–7 hours
- Morning shifts: Approximately 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Evening shifts: Approximately 4:00 PM to closing(8:30PM)
- Weekend availability is preferred
