La Foret is looking for Kitchen Staff to join our team!

Title: FOH Staff

- Work Location: 1135 Austin Ave, Coquitlam, BC V3K 3P4
- Wage: $18.50/hour ~ (dependent upon experience)
- Terms of Employment: Full-time or Part-Time, Permanent
- Positions Available: 2

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare menu items according to Laforêt’s recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Complete daily prep work, including ingredients, sauces, and station setup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace following food safety and hygiene standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently as required for each station.
- Support inventory management by properly storing ingredients, labeling items, and minimizing waste.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Follow all operational standards and contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and positive kitchen environment.

Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen (line cook, prep cook, dishwasher, or equivalent).
- Ability to communicate effectively during daily operations.
- Knowledge of food safety practices (FoodSafe Level 1 is an asset).




- Experience working with kitchen production equipment such as mixers, fryers, or knives.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong teamwork mindset and willingness to learn kitchen production systems and standards.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
