Looking for workers for golf course construction in the Belleville area. (Additional travel may be required.)

Duties:

Duties include but are not limited to: tree and brush removal; moving topsoil, gravel, sand and mulch; drainage installation & repairs; assisting with irrigation installation and repairs; stone picking/removal; sod and seed installation/maintenance, and site preparation as it relates to:

- greens construction
- tee deck construction
- bunker construction
- mound complex construction
- fairway construction
- cart pathway construction
- drainage construction
- pond construction

- Other projects as required.

Requirements:

- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Physically able to complete demanding work which may include heavy lifting, bending, reaching, repetitive tasks.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate tractors and other construction equipment, various tools, small engine equipment and vehicles, measurement and survey equipment, hand tools, etc..




- Maintain a clean and safe work zone at all times and return all equipment and tools daily.
- Good communication skills: able to follow direction as well as provide feedback.
- Have a positive and respectful attitude.
- Work with the team to complete required tasks, and take initiative to get the job done.
- Must have valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract and reliable transportation.
- Safety boots and gloves are required. Workwear suitable for weather conditions.
- Landscape and/or golf course construction experience is an asset, but not required.
- Punctual, reliable, and available to work weekends and holidays if required.

Pay rate will be based upon experience. Starting at $20 - $23 / hour with opportunity for growth and advancement. Only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.
