Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Landscape Install Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, is a team player, and wants to be part of creating thoughtfully designed landscapes throughout Vancouver and the surrounding area.

Our projects include a diverse range of work including planting, patios, decks, saunas, walkways, retaining walls, irrigation and lighting. You’ll work alongside a fun and experienced crew to turn landscape designs into stunning finished spaces.

Key Responsibilities

As a Landscape Install Technician, you will play an important role in the construction and installation of residential and landscape projects.

Your responsibilities may include

- Installing sod, plants, trees, shrubs, and garden beds
- Assisting with the construction of patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps, and paver systems
- Installing drainage and irrigation components as required
- Preparing sites through excavation, grading, soil preparation, and material placement
- Operating hand tools, power tools, landscaping equipment, and machinery safely and effectively
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials at job sites
- Measuring, levelling, and ensuring installations are completed accurately
- Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Working closely with Crew Leads and other team members to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard
- Taking pride in the details and quality of the finished landscape

Requirements

- Previous experience in landscape installation, construction, or a related field, with experience in both softscape and hardscape
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, digging,



kneeling, standing, and working outdoors for extended periods
- Ability to work safely and effectively in varying West Coast weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and contribute positively to the crew
- Valid driver's licence

An asset:

- Experience with paver installation, retaining walls, drainage, irrigation, grading, or other landscape construction
- Experience operating landscape construction equipment
- Horticultural or landscape construction training
- Ability to read and work from landscape plans

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
