Duties

- Snow removal
- Tree maintenance
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to keep turf healthy and vibrant
- Maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements like patios and walkways
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, trimming, pruning, and general maintenance
- Operate equipment such as excavators, snow plows, and irrigation systems to support seasonal needs and landscape upkeep
- Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, planting, and removal to promote safety and aesthetic appeal
- Assist with construction projects involving hardscape installation or landscape redesigns
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain landscaping machinery and tools




- Expertise in lawn care practices including mowing, fertilization, pest control, and irrigation system management
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques for gardens, trees, shrubs, and turf management
- Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., pruners, shovels) and power tools (e.g., trimmers, blowers) for various landscaping tasks
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators for construction or large-scale landscaping projects
- Familiarity with horticulture principles to support plant health and growth strategies
- Ability to perform snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe pathways and driveways
- Understanding of hardscape installation including patios, retaining walls, walkways using appropriate materials
- Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming, pruning, planting or removal for safety and aesthetics
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining outdoor spaces in pristine condition
