Turf Systems Inc. is looking for reliable, hands-on Lawn Care & Snow Operations Technicians to join our team For 35 years, Turf Systems has built a reputation for professional lawn care, irrigation, and commercial snow removal. What You’ll Do

As a Lawn Care & Snow Operations Technician, you will provide professional lawn care services during the spring, summer, and fall, and transition to snow and ice management during the winter season.

Year-Round Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain company vehicles, trucks, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre- and post-operation equipment and vehicle safety checks.
- Follow assigned routes, site maps, safety policies, and company operating procedures.
- Maintain clear, qualified communication with dispatch, management, and clients on-site.
- Complete all properties thoroughly with strong attention to quality, safety, and high-priority areas.

Spring – Fall Operations:

- Apply fertilizers and weed control products safely and accurately.
- Perform lawn aeration, overseeding, and topdressing services.
- Identify common lawn issues, weeds, and pests to help maintain healthy turf.
- Utilize specialized lawn care tools (sprayers, spreaders, blowers).

Winter Operations:

- Operate plow trucks or heavy equipment (tractors with plows) to clear snow and manage ice on commercial properties.




- Respond reliably when called in during weather events, including night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Snow Doesn’t Follow a 9-to-5 Schedule While spring through fall offers regular daytime hours, winter operations are on-call. Snow events can happen during the day, overnight, on weekends, and on holidays.

When winter weather hits, our clients depend on us—and our snow team depends on each other. Successful operators must be able to respond reliably and work the hours required to complete an event.

Top-up pay is provided to support your on-call availability throughout the winter season.

Requirements

- Valid Ontario G driver’s licence
- Clean driving record
- Current driver’s abstract required upon hire
- Reliable and available
- Alert, safety-conscious, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Able to follow instructions, site plans, and operating procedures
- Comfortable working outdoors in winter conditions and during overnight hours when required
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
