We are an established community pharmacy in Sarnia, Ontario, seeking an experienced, motivated, and dependable Lead Pharmacy Assistant / Dispensary Manager to join our growing team.

Our pharmacy has experienced significant growth, and we are looking for an individual who can take a leadership role in organizing daily dispensary operations, supporting our pharmacists, and helping maintain an efficient, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily dispensary workflow and prescription processing.
- Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation, data entry, and adjudication.
- Organize and support pharmacy assistants.
- Manage prescription refill requests and inventory processes.
- Help maintain efficient workflow during high-volume periods.
- Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and healthcare providers.
- Assist with staff training and operational improvements.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, organization, and patient service.

All responsibilities are performed within the scope of a pharmacy assistant and under appropriate pharmacist supervision.





Qualifications

- Previous experience working in a community pharmacy is required.
- Strong knowledge of prescription processing and dispensary operations.
- Experience supervising or mentoring pharmacy assistants is preferred.
- Familiarity with Propel Rx or similar pharmacy software is an asset.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy pharmacy environment.
