Starkman & Zhang Lawyers, a boutique litigation firm in Markham, Ontario, is looking for a full-time Legal Assistant / Junior Associate to join our team in person.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their legal career who is eager to learn litigation, detail-oriented, and ready to take on meaningful work in a fast-paced litigation practice.

What You'll Do

- Prepare and organize court filings, motion materials, and evidence briefs

- Manage litigation deadlines, court dates, and filing requirements

- Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, and clients

- Draft correspondence and assist with document production

- Support lawyers in trial preparation and hearing logistics

What We're Looking For

- Robust written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent organization and attention to detail

- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines
- A collaborative, proactive attitude

- Fluency in Mandarin is a must

- Relevant education or experience in a legal setting is an asset

Location: Markham, ON (Highway 7 & 404, free parking)
