Duties

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, ovens, and prep stations.
- Support the team during busy service hours by managing multiple orders quickly while maintaining attention to detail.
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and uphold high standards of food quality.

Experience

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service workplace is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety protocols.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safe storage, preparation, and serving of ingredients.
- Experience in meal preparation across various cuisines or menu types is a plus.
