With Italian roots and a strong focus on quality, hospitality, and consistency, we are building a passionate culinary team ready to grow with us.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and organized Cook to join our café kitchen team.

You will prepare sandwiches, salads, and other café offerings, following established recipes and ensuring consistent quality, freshness, and presentation. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on kitchen work and takes pride in preparing quality food.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and complete daily prep according to production needs.
- Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other café menu items.
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
- Keep workstations, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized.
- Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures.
- Label, date, store, and rotate ingredients properly.
- Help receive deliveries and put away products.




- Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages to the chef.
- Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently.
- Work closely with the kitchen and café teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a cook in a café, restaurant, or production kitchen.
- Valuable food-preparation skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of food-safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to follow recipes and work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a team.
- Experience with sandwiches, salads, or Italian-inspired food is an asset.
