Duties

- Prepare and assemble cold dishes, including salads, appetizers, charcuterie boards, and garnishes with attention to detail and presentation.
- Ensure all food handling practices adhere strictly to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Assist in food preparation for special events or menu changes, supporting the kitchen team with meal assembly.
- Maintain organization of ingredients and supplies in the garde manger station for efficient service flow.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of high-quality dishes during service hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of cold ingredients and communicate needs for restocking or ordering supplies.




- Follow all restaurant policies related to food safety, hygiene, and proper storage procedures.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in food preparation or cold station work.
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and safety regulations within the food industry.
- Prior experience with serving guests or customers is preferred, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques specific to garde manger or cold kitchen operations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Kitchen experience that showcases versatility across different culinary stations is a plus.
