Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist with food prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Cook menu items accurately and efficiently, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols at all times
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices are followed
- Support the serving team by ensuring timely delivery of orders and assisting with plating when needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, kitchen safety, and sanitation standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong attention to detail in meal preparation and food presentation
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
- Basic understanding of serving techniques and customer service principles is a plus
- Willingness to follow instructions precisely and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
