Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a smooth kitchen operation. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and cooking, with a passion for delivering excellent food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Support the team during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Adhere to restaurant policies regarding food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy hours
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices in meal preparation
- Experience with serving customers or food service operations is a plus
- Attention to detail in food presentation and quality control

This role is essential in ensuring smooth kitchen operations, consistent food quality, and a clean, safe, and organized work setting. Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30.0 per week
