About Hamilton Sports Group

Hamilton Sports Group (HSG) brings professional sport and live entertainment together through the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Forge FC. Based in Hamilton, we create memorable experiences for fans, partners and the community, and are building a connected organization focused on growth and impact across the region.

The chance

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are looking for a relationship-driven individual to grow and care for our premium client community. The role combines premium membership development, account management, hospitality and game-day delivery. You will learn what matters to each client, recommend the right premium seating or ticketing solution, and deliver a strong experience from first conversation through renewal and follow-up. New business development is key, but lasting client relationships and a polished experience are the measure of the work. You will build a thoughtful pipeline, host clients and coordinate with Ticket Sales, Service, Ticket Operations and event teams to deliver what was promised. You may also identify suitable group or multi-game opportunities that deepen engagement and support revenue goals.

What success looks like

- Premium revenue and individual and team objectives are achieved through a balanced focus on new business, member retention, renewals and relevant upsell opportunities.
- Premium clients receive responsive, informed service and a welcoming, well-coordinated experience before, during and after Tiger-Cats home games.
- Prospects and members are managed through a clear, consistent process, with accurate records of conversations, commitments and follow-up.
- Client feedback and market insight help improve premium programs, hospitality delivery and future sales campaigns.

What you will own

- Develop new premium business through targeted prospecting, referrals, networking, meetings and creative outreach to Hamilton-area businesses and individuals.
- Manage a portfolio of premium clients with an emphasis on relationship quality, proactive service, renewals and appropriate opportunities to expand the relationship.
- Understand each client’s goals and recommend suitable premium seating, season membership, single-game, multi-game or related ticketing options.
- Coordinate the client journey from inquiry and purchase through account setup, ticket fulfilment, game-day hosting and post-event follow-up.
- Host premium clients at Tiger-Cats home games and support hospitality, client-appreciation and other in-season or off-season experiences.
- Work with Ticket Sales, Service, Ticket Operations and event colleagues to resolve client needs and ensure sales commitments are delivered accurately.
- Contribute to group and business-development initiatives where they complement premium experiences and client needs.
- Maintain timely, accurate records in Salesforce and relevant ticketing or sales platforms, including Archtics and FEVO where used.
- Monitor account activity, pipeline health, renewals and client feedback; share useful insights with the team.
- Represent the Tiger-Cats at business, networking and community events across Hamilton and the surrounding area.

How you will work

Reporting to the Director, Ticket Sales & Service, you will balance independent ownership of a client portfolio with shared team goals. You will stay organized across prospect activity, client requests and event deadlines, communicate early when coordination is needed, and remain present at home games and relevant business or community events. Strong execution means the experience promised in a sales conversation is the experience delivered on game day.

What you bring

- Experience in relationship-based sales, account management, membership service, hospitality or another client-facing environment; you can build trust and move opportunities forward without making every interaction feel transactional.

- A service-first approach and sound judgment when supporting clients before, during and after live events.
- Clear, confident communication in writing, on the phone, online and in person.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to connect client needs with practical ticketing or premium experience options.
- Strong organization, follow-through and attention to detail across multiple accounts, events and deadlines.
- A collaborative, self-directed approach and comfort working in a fast-moving, game-day environment.
- Knowledge of Hamilton and the Greater Hamilton Area, or the ability to build productive local relationships.
- A valid driver’s licence, clean driving record and reliable access to a vehicle.

Assets—not requirements

- Experience in professional sport, live events, premium seating, hospitality or a membership-based business.
- Experience with Salesforce, Ticketmaster Archtics, FEVO or comparable CRM and ticketing platforms.
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing, sport administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.

What you can expect from HSG

- A visible role in shaping premium client experiences, with ownership across sales, service, hospitality and live-event delivery.
- Cross-functional experience in the commercial and event operations of a professional sports organization.
- A collaborative team where client insight, initiative and reliable execution matter.
